Dupin für Mac

As fryd21 stated, a lot of the features do not work. I reached out pre sale a few times and Doug could not be bothered. I took a leap of faith and nothing worked. The app stated it was completing tasks where the Console report showed there were many errors. It really screwed everything up and I wasted many hours thinking tasks were being performed that were not. Luckily I had backups. An app that does not even report its own errors? I wrote to Doug several times. I had to wait at least 48 hours each time. He kept blaming the problems on special characters and that I was using an NTFS formatted drive. So when I used a drirectly connected APFS formatted drive and removed all special characters and it still did not work, he sent me a snide and snarky admonishment to chill out and wait because he had too many "pen pals." The he stated I did not want to "accept" the solution I already proved was incorrect. How about developing your software correctly and not being an ass? Avoid this guy like the plague.

don't have the heart to give one start because i admire doug and what he does for the community. and i think the aim of the app is fantastic, very well thought out in terms of including helpful functionality unfortunately, that functionality just does not work for me. some of the features run half-okay, but the 're-playlist' tool is the main reason i paid for dupin and that does not work at all (nor does the 'consolidate history' tool. you can't use the tools at all in the trial version, so i was forced to take the leap of faith and make the purchase and have since been disappointed. as a software developer myself im sympathetic to how bugs can pop up, but I've reached out to the developer several times via email and not gotten even an acknowledgement, much less a successful patch. This stuff really would be great if it worked, I just wish i could have some reason to hope that it might at some point.

I reported a bug to the developer and he was quick to fix it! Great work! Definitely better than itunes built-in duplicate checker

Yesterday's update (1.30) on August 31, 2013 causes Dupin Lite not to open. The icon appears for a few seconds and then disappears.

If it would open I would love to try it but it dont open
